We all know about images bringing to mind various thoughts and emotions, and even smells can do that too - Mom's apple pie for example. But how about colour?
Whilst we all have a favorite colour or colours, and it's true that certain colours convey various feelings, but do colours have taste? Some people would immediately say, "Yes!" and talk about blueberries or blackberries. And there's no doubting that those berries could represent those colours. But how about the colour yellow? What does it taste like? Pineapple, custard, lemon? That was the dilemma that faced 28 year old Josh Winger - create a chocolate bar that tasted yellow. He did much research in the form of consumer taste tests. And the winner was....
Pineapple custard! I guess if you can't decide between all of them, why not combine them? Overwhelmingly, consumers picked pineapple custard as tasting "yellow".
